Philip Clay Goodman is a native of Lexington, Kentucky. He moved to North Carolina in 2011 to attend Queens University of Charlotte where he earned a BA in English. After Graduating in 2015, Clay worked as a Leasing Manager for three large scale property management companies (Bozzuto Group, Greystar, and Preferred Apartment Communities) at properties with 300+ units.
During his time in property management Clay maintained a 72% closing ratio in the crowded Ballantyne market of Charlotte. He experienced properties during lease up, acquisition, stabilization, takeover, as well as disposition of the asset. After learning the front end of multi-family, Clay obtained his real estate license in Nov. 2018. Going full time with Capstone Commercial Group.
In his first month as a full time Broker, Clay is already handling a portfolio of over 5 million dollars in listings. Capstone Commercial Group’s expertise in income producing properties was Clay’s reason for signing on full time, and it is the reason he is so hungry for success in CRE.
